DASD Contracting can act as your project's General Contractor, under a CCDC 2 Stipulated Price Contract - offering you a set price for a pre-determined scope of work. As your General Contractor DASD takes full risk for managing subcontractors, schedules, and budgets - and you as a client are guaranteed a set scope of work will be completed at a fixed price.

Construction Management - CCDC5B

DASD Contracting also offers Construction Management services under CCDC 5B, a flexible and collaborative approach that allows for greater owner involvement and cost transparency. As a Construction Manager (CM), we work closely with owners, architects, and consultants from the early design stages to project completion.

Unlike a traditional lump-sum (General Contracting) contract, CCDC 5B enables us to act as as a Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) - which means we provide both advisory and execution services, assuming responsibility for trade contracts and project delivery while ensuring seamless coordination between all stakeholders. This approach is ideal for projects that require early contractor involvement, fast-tracked timelines, or evolving design requirements.

Under the CCDC 2 Stipulated Price Contract, DASD Contracting acts as the General Contractor, taking full responsibility for managing subcontractors, schedules, and budgets at a fixed price

This approach is ideal for clearly defined projects with minimal expected changes, ensuring predictable costs and on-time delivery. By leveraging our extensive trade relationships and strict quality control, DASD guarantees that each project meets the highest construction standards while mitigating financial risk for the owner.

Construction Management (CCDC 5B) – A Collaborative, Flexible Model

For projects requiring early contractor involvement, evolving designs, or fast-tracked timelines, DASD offers Construction Management services under CCDC 5B

This model allows for real-time budgeting, value engineering, and open-book cost transparency, giving owners greater control over decision-making throughout the project lifecycle. 

Acting as the Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR), DASD ensures seamless coordination between stakeholders while managing trade contracts and optimizing resources to achieve project goals efficiently.

Construction Management (CCDC 5B)

i.e. Cost-Plus

For projects requiring evolving designs/scope, early contractor involvement, or fast-tracked timelines, often times a CCDC 5B is more appropriate. Under a CCDC 5B DASD acts as your construction consultant and construction manager and the project is priced under a Cost Plus agreement. This model allows for real-time planning, change of scope, and open-book cost transparency, giving owners greater control over decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.
